Come out and hear our friends "The Lewis and Clark Musical Expedition", from San Antonio on Saturday, February 23 - 8:30 PM. One set, one show only in Dallas!
Lewis and Clark = great music, groovy, uplifting, fun!
They will be playing a special, free (!) showcase set at 8:30 PM at Mardi Gras – Dallas. This is a cool, intimate venue to see this highly original act, in their first Dallas appearance.
Mardi Gras also features scrumptious Cajun food! I can taste that gumbo now…

The Lewis and Clark Musical Expedition is Kevin Lewis – fretless bass and guitars, and Dana Clark – vocal, piano, sax, flute. They will be featuring songs from their new CD “Disguised As Poetry”, as well as some jazz and blues favorites from their extensive song list.

TRACE ELEMENTS CD NEWS
Trace Elements, the band, enter the studio this week to work on their first full-length CD release “Welcome to The Color Bar”. These sessions are a dream come true for Trace who has been plotting and planning this for 25 years or so!
The band assembling for these sessions is made up of some of the finest players Texas has to offer including:
Kevin Lewis (San Antonio) – guitars
Sparky Montoya – keyboards
Mike Beall – drums
John Echols – bass
Tracy Ready – vocals
Joining us as special guests in the studio will be Dallas’ own Hash Brown on guitar and harp, Dana Clark of San Antonio – saxophone, piano and backing vocals and Sal Salvador – bass.
The sessions take place at January Sound, Dallas with Engineer Tye Robison.
Producers – Sal Salvador, Trace
This will be the first of 3 sessions to comprise the album, to be released December 2008.
