Hello,

I'm sorry for this but I'm using this as a way to let everyone know that we lost another legend today. Rocky Morales passed away around 4:15pm at University Hospital from lung cancer. Rocky was the heart and soul of the "West Side Horns" sound that has flavored so many of Doug and Augie's albums as well as others like Kim Wilson, Angela Strehli, Lou Ann Barton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Albert Collins and many others.

Over the years Rocky has taught me more about drumming than anyone and also has given me the knowledge of knowing that "the music suffers when you play for yourself and not for the song."

His influences will live with me forever.
I'll miss you Rock!!!
